The dwarves are a hardy race that live in mountains. They are constantly at war with goblins and kobloids.
They wear heavy fur and steel armor, and are expert blacksmiths. Both men and woman have large beards. Their religion is called stone worship, and their high priest is Ajax Ironbeard. Thier mythology is similar to the trolls, and they have the same creation theory. In their religion, their two gods, Grawl, god of blacksmiths and war, and Geminite, goddess of gems and money, hatched from a stone egg. The shards of the egg created the world, and the yolk formed into all the plants, animals, and life that exists today. Presumably, one of the shards shot off and created the moon.
